We are looking for a Clinical Team Leader (RMN/RNLD) with a passion for delivering the best quality of care.
You will be working 40 hours per week at Cygnet Acer Clinic.
Cygnet Acer Clinic is a 28 bed rehabilitation service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex needs.
Your Day-to-Day???
- To supervise the smooth running of a shift and take leadership responsibility for the ward in the absence of the ward manager.
- Act as a role model to all staff in clinical areas, helping to maintain a motivated and positive workforce.
- To take professional responsibility as a named nurse for the risk assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care needs for service users.
- To work in adherence to the NMC code and meet the requirements of revalidation as required.
- Take a lead role as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team to support implementation of the treatments & therapy as per the service user's care plans, meeting the physical & emotional needs of the service users in a helpful, honest, responsible, respectful and empathic manner.
- Take a leading role in monitoring & maintaining physical wellbeing.
- Participate in the manager's on call system to provide the first point of contact for ward based staff, outside of normal hours.
- Actively develop, coach and mentor staff to improve practice on the ward.

You will have???
Essential:
- Experienced Registered Mental Health (RMN)/ Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with a current Pin Number
- Experience in a management position and ability to effectively lead a team in a "hands-on" fashion
- The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits and demonstrate integrity in your role
- Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & have an understanding of latest nursing practices
- A commitment to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage and reduce risk
- Compassion, resilience and a dedication to empower and support service user independence
