Tutor/Assessor- Joinery/Carpentry/Multi Skills
We are currently recruiting for a highly professional and experienced Training Provider.
This Training Provider deliver a wide range of Training Programmes which include Employability, Traineeships, Apprenticeships and Distance Learning.
This company have now won a new contract to deliver L2 and L3 NVQ's in Joinery and Carpentry.
The position is a remote based position and will involve travelling throughout the West Midlands to support learners to achieve their qualification.
As a qualified and experienced Construction Assessor/Tutor can expect:
" Competitive Salary of up to GBP38000
" Generous holiday scheme
" Travel Expenses- paid from home mile
" Pension Scheme, Phone, Laptop
Summary of the Assessor/Tutor will include:
" Supporting learners undertaking NVQ's in Joinery and Carpentry up to Level 3
" To deliver the qualification/training materials in a motivational and inspirational language, ensuring that the key learning objectives are achieved
" To contribute to continuous improvement by ensuring that the training materials meet College/Awarding Body/QA standards
" Contribute to the development of learning materials and develop schemes of work to ensure compliance with best practise and quality targets
" Carry out initial assessment and induction using approved documentation
" Plan, organise and deliver assessment activities in the workplace
" Monitor learner progress and provide reports for the employer and college
" Provide advice, support and guidance and assist the learner to complete in a timely manner
" Setting key objectives, course work and reviewing with the learner on a regular basis
" Providing information and guidance to the learner and employer
" Working to specific quality and completion of targets
" Helping with enrolment of learners
Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required for the Trainer/Assessor- Joinery and Carpentry
" Be Assessor qualified, A1, TAQA, CAVA, or D32, D33
" Hold a recognised teaching qualification e.g. PTTLS or equivalent is desirable
" Hold a NVQ Level 3 in Joinery, Carpentry and a Wood Occupation
" Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel is essential
" Excellent all round IT Skills, with knowledge of using digital delivery platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and E-Portfolio's
