JOB DESCRIPTION
Interaction Recruitment is actively recruiting for a number of production/warehouse operatives to work on a temporary ongoing basis for a destination employer in Chesterfield.
Ideally we are seeking an experience forklift driving candidate. Who are able to pick, pack, assemble and sort items in an accurate and timely manner and who can deal with sometimes comparatively repetitive tasks with attention to detail and consistency?
This role would suit individuals who are comfortable with being notified of shifts at short notice and who are flexible in their approach to work.
GBP9.50 per hour, weekly pay.
8:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday early finish on Fridays if your week has been productive. Potential for overtime on weekends.
(38.5 hours per week) - Must be flexible however as there may be some 2pm - 10pm shifts
Candidates must be aged 18 or over.
Key responsibilities:
Carry out packing tasks so that the products produced are packed and loaded to the prescribed standards with respect to quantity and quality.
Carrying out work in the dispensary, Label room, control room
Manual Handling material up to 25kg
Operating machinery
General Warehouse Duties as requested by Supervisors/Management
Follow Health & Safety Regulations
"On the job" training will be provided.
The ideal candidate must have:
Demonstrate experience of working within a busy Production, Factory or Warehouse environment (at least 2 years' experience)
Able to work in a fast pace environment
FLT Counterbalance - essential
Hard working attitude
Good eye for details
Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills
Manual Handling
Excellent Timekeeping
Reliable and Committed
Able to follow instruction
