About the role:
The main role of a Cover Supervisor is to cover short and long term absences of full time staff in schools. This involves managing behaviour, ensuring work is completed and supporting other staff. It is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in schools crucial for pursuing a career in teaching.
The role offers flexibility and work-life balance. YOU choose your availability to work around your current commitments - work full time or part time.
About the schools:
Secondary schools across Shropshire, Staffordshire and Wolverhampton - set your own travel time/radius based on the area that you live and are willing to travel. You will be able to experience a variety of different schools or build strong relationships with one or two and will work in a supportive and team oriented environment.
About you:
You will have experience working within schools or with children / young people - this could include summer camps, play schemes, dance schools, mentoring, church groups, sports coaching, drama workshops etc. You will have a passion for education and relate well to young people. These are excellent opportunities for varied and challenging work.
You must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to obtain suitable references for your work with children/ young people. If you do not already hold a DBS check, you must be willing to have one processed.
