Right now, our Northampton Step Down service is looking for someone like you to join the team. This is a new, bespoke 24-hour service for two men with Mental Health needs and Learning Difficulties who are on the Autistic spectrum. Day-to-day, you will work with these individuals to support the development and delivery of 'client led' recovery and safety planning, helping them to regain sustainable control over their challenges and maximise their independence. And, when it comes to liaising with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure they have access to a full range of services to live a positive and fulfilled life, again, we'll rely on your expertise.
The chances are, you already work in the mental health field. What is for certain is that you have experience of working with people with Mental Health needs and learning difficulties or ASD. You are caring, consistent, flexible and creative, work well under pressure, know how to connect with people at all levels and, like us, are keen to break down the stigma of mental health.
The postholder will be required to participate in a 24-hour cover rota involving both evening and weekend work.
The salary for this post is GBP18,354 (pro-rata for part time hours)
These are permanent, part time roles. We have two posts at 18.75 hours per week, and two posts at 22.5 hours per week.
