Project Escorts needed for ongoing projects at HMP Guys Marsh.
Your new company
As the leading supplier to the HM Prison Service for the provision of maintenance trades & support operatives, Hays is seeking to recruit Project Escorts for HMP Guys Marsh.
Your new role
The project escort team operate Mon-Friday 8am-5pm and the role of the Escort is to accompany Contractors around site, oversee their tools and ensure their safety and security.You collect Contractors for the gate, bring them to works to be signed in and conduct a tool check then take them to where they need to be - stand with them and once the job is complete carry out another tool check and bring them back to works to sign out. You will also be required to conduct searches on visitors and contractors.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant does not require any experience as full training is provided, however a military or security background would be beneficial but not necessary.
You will need to be security conscious, level headed and have exceptional interpersonal skills. You will also have good ability to work as a team to achieve goals with strong communication skills.
