Job Title: Health and Social Care Assessor
*KM is delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to both unqualified and qualified Assessors who hold Care Management competency*
Location: Cornwall / Devon - Must be flexible with travel
Salary/Package: GBP25,500 - GBP29,000 plus bonus (Depending on level you deliver + Excellent Benefits Package, Pension, Mileage + more!
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria for all candidates:
* Hold solid occupational experience of working within Health and Social Care / Elderly Care at Management level.
* Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
* Flexibility is required with working hours and travel, as and when required to meet learners needs.
* Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
* Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
* Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
Duties include:
* Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care Levels 2, 3 and 5.
* Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
* Delivering completely online due to Covid-19 with a view to returning to online and visiting/observing learners in their place of work, once restrictions are lifted, to gather evidence towards their QCF Diploma.
* Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely assessments and reviews are conducted.
* Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
* Support, advise and motivate learners.
* Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
* Meet Assessor KPI's in terms of timely assessments / visits (when allowed), quality paperwork and general administration.
* Work to learner review and completion timescales.
