Better Healthcare Specialist Team works with adults and young children with long term clinical needs within the community.
Our specialist team supports clients with Acquired brain Injury (ABI), Ventilated conditions, Spinal cord injury, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Mental health and many other complexities.
We are recruiting for a support worker to provide support to a client who lives in her own home. Our client lives in Lowestoft and requires 24 hour care, our client has complex health care needs: she has respiratory issues, reduced mobility and a mental health diagnosis.
Successful candidates would be providing support with personal care, preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking, maintaining household tasks, administering medication and providing social support. We currently have weekend shifts available 7am - 7pm.
For this role a minimum of 3 months previous care experience is essential and some experience within a mental health setting would be beneficial. All successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check and satisfactory references.
