Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week, day or night shift available

Our Registered Nurses are responsible for planning and implementing the highest quality of nursing care to the home's elderly residents, some of whom have dementia. Maintaining a homely, supportive and stimulating environment to improve and sustain, the residents' quality of life. To lead, support and coach a staff team, upholding and actively promoting the Morris Care values and philosophy so each day is the best it can be for residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, assessing, delivering and evaluating individual person-centred care plans
  • Organising and motivating the carers to ensure good standards of care are delivered
  • Upholding and monitoring standards of resident personal care through staff guidance, supervision and review of communications, ensuring care plans are regularly evaluated
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate drug records (storage, maintenance and use)
  • Providing the highest standards of medical or palliative care at all times

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • You must be a qualified nurse - RGN or RMN - registered with the NMC (valid PIN)
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding care
  • Previous experience within a similar setting is desirable
