About The Role
We're looking for an Engineering Manager to support the Design and Engineering team, in managing and delivering the optimised Design for Environmental and Landscape disciplines, in accordance with the Programme and the Client's requirements.
You will need to act as the Lead Environmental and Landscape Discipline Manager route wide (across all sectors). You'll be leading the design development within the IDMT. Close liaison with the D&E Section Lead to ensure the delivery on time, optimised and in accordance with the Client's requirements is a key part of this role.
Link and coordination with Construction for management of topics such environmental and ecology surveys, and all other issues related with the design development for these disciplines. You will need to drive the expertise for Environmental and Landscape within EKFB Design and Engineering team
Key role for constructability, and TW integration around environmental and landscape constrains (coordination with Construction + leading designer action). You'll also have a direct link to BOQ monitoring. Model review, quantity monitoring and control.
Ensuring coordination of all environmental and landscape design and assurance deliverables with interfacing organisations. We'd like you to maintain close liaison and collaboration with HS2 technical team as required. Your attendance and support to the Client, Designer and EKFB meetings is also required. It is your responsibility for environmental, consents and sustainability matters, are implemented effectively.
