QA Specialist
QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST - PERMANENT - HERTFORDSHIRE - UP TO GBP50,000
A leading pharmaceutical organisation located in Hertfordshire, are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their manufacturing plant on a permanent basis working Monday to Friday.
Reporting to Quality Assurance Lead, the core function of the role will be to act as a senior / experienced member of the QA team and take ownership of all aspects of Quality Assurance (QA) activities relating to production and QA review of products manufactured ensuring standards and expectations of the key stakeholders are met. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Quality Management System which will include process mapping and the development of procedures for controlling the key quality and business processes.
Additional responsibilities include:
Manage the QMS (Quality Management System) involving both maintenance and development / implementation.
Perform regular trend analysis of deviations, CAPA reviews and customer complaints.
Assist in internal and external audits.
To be considered for Quality Assurance Specialist position, candidates will be degree qualified in a scientific or equivalent discipline and have strong experience working at a senior/ specialist level in a Quality Assurance (QA) operational role within a sterile pharmaceutical / biotechnology / biologics GMP environment with sound knowledge of EMA and FDA regulatory requirements.
The role is based in Hertfordshire and is commutable from, Middlesex, Surrey, Amersham, Ware, St. Albans, Buckinghamshire, London and other areas across the East of England.
