Our client is a leading provider of fibre optic products, delivering a complete, integrated solution to installations worldwide for the telecommunication industry.
Due to rapid growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fibre Supervisor to join the team based at the Bury St Edmunds office.
You will be responsible for Management of telecoms FTTP infrastructure installation, co-ordinating and working directly with employed supervising teams, planners, and street works coordinators and project managers, to ensure that operational programme, financial targets and deadlines are met in accordance with contract requirements.
Duties will include:
* Managing subcontractors and overseeing management of other supervisors.
* Resolving operational problems and responsible for site operational activities.
* Running meeting with subcontractors, agreeing programmes, targets etc.
* Resolving technical issues.
* Building strong relationships with all workforce.
* Ensuring all KPI's and KPM's are achieved.
* Ensure all safety incidents are investigated and reported.
Candidate Specification:
It is essential that you have a minimum of 3 year's Supervisory/Management experience in the Telecoms Industry with knowledge of the CDM regulations and hold the following:
* NRSWA Supervisor Qualification - Excavation, reinstatement,
* SLG (ideally 12 months remaining)
* SSSTS / SMSTS
* Current Manual Handling and First Aid at work certificates
* Openreach accreditations
* Driving Licence
* IOSH
This is a full time, permanent role offering a salary in the range of GBP40000 - GBP45000 per annum + package.
