Power Press Setter required for a well-established manufacturer of sheet metal fabricated products based in the Redditch area. Due to the ongoing growth and success of the business they are seeking an experienced Power Press Setter to join the estabilished production team. The successful candidate will be required to set-up the machinery as well as make basic modifications to programs prior to production.
The Power Press Setter will have worked with sheet metal machinery, such as Punches, Presses, and Lasers etc. and be based within a commutable distance of Redditch.
Power Press Setter Position Overview
Setup 5 Ton to 160 Ton Power Presses
Make basic modifications to programs
Work to Quality Standards such as ISO:9001
Follow Health and Safety Procedures
Power Press Setter Position Requirements
Previous experience Setting and Operating Amada Punch / Press Machinery or similar
Ability to make minor modification to programmes is desirable
Strong communications skills
Previous experience with Tooling / Progression Tooling
Health and Safety Qualifications (IOSH, COSH, etc.) would be advantageous
Based in a commutable distance of Redditch, Birmingham
Power Press Setter Position Remuneration
Salary GBP10.00 - GBP15.70 per hour, depending upon experience
39 hour week, Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:45, Friday 08:00 - 14:00
Overtime available at time and a third / time and a half
33 Days Holiday, including Bank Holidays
