Belmont Recruitment are working closely with an Independent Private Nursing Home located South of Birmingham that have had a Clinical Lead role become available. The home is medium in size and specialises in care for those who suffer with Dementia and Physical Disability. The successful candidate will ensure the high standards of nursing care and work with the home manager and deputy manager in order to run the home in line with legislation and current practice. The home caters for general nursing care.
Job Description:
To support the manager and other senior team members in all aspects of the home's management and service provision. Working within policy guidelines ensuring that all relevant legislation, the organisations Policies and Procedures and Codes of Practice are adhered to.
To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care in order to achieve the highest standards of contemporary care. To lead the clinical nursing work and staff management in the designated area of responsibility.
To help maintain in the home the atmosphere and practice of care based on the groups values deriving from a concern for the individual and mutual respect between residents and staff.
You will need to assess plan, deliver and evaluate resident care, in order to achieve the highest standards.
Payrate:
GBP19P/H with paid breaks included
Hours:
36 Hours Per Week (12 Clinical & 24 Supernumerary)
Essential requirements:
• Be a qualified RGN/RMN
•1+ Years Previous supervisory and/or management experience
• Ability to work as part of team and on own initiative ie operating and leading a shift in absence of care home Manager
• Have a valid NMC pin number
• Be committed and dedicated to the role.
• Have experience within a Care Home or similar environment
• Satisfactory Disclosure completion upon successful application
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Right to work in the UK
Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Supervise/Manage a team within nursing home.
• Comply with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times
• Ensure that all residents have full risk assessments and person-centred care plans in place and that these are regularly reviewed and updated
• Take responsibility for medication administration and management
• Carry out other nursing duties associated with the role including management of resident needs, audits, record keeping etc
• Promote resident independence and respect their dignity and choices at all times
• Work in line with Company policies and procedures
