Export Sales Manager - Based Exeter

Territory Germany, Austria & Switzerland

My client is a leading tile manufacturers and distributors, with an extensive portfolio of with products available in over 60 countries and over 2000 retail outlets worldwide.

This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic, energetic individual with a flair for interior design or kitchen/bathroom design to join a successful global manufacturer and distributor of floor and wall tiles within their UK Sales Team.

The purpose of this role is to develop/exceed sales using quantitative data and research leads, including product trends and competitor operations.

You will be responsible for opening new accounts where appropriate in line with corporate strategy, and to maintain/improve long term customer relationships.

Candidate

Demonstrate proven experience of successfully working in Export Field Sales, ideally B2B sales.
Proven ability to increase sales using quantitative data
Excellent understanding of Export Sales with an industry background in either interior design/bathrooms/kitchens or fashion design.
Possess excellent communication skills to be able communicate product information clearly and concisely.
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Confident in presenting various products/brand in sales presentations
Strong understanding of Marketing (including Social media) to develop sales growth
Highly organised with good route planning and time management skills.
Competent user of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and CRM Systems
Full driving licence.Duties

Develop and deliver a call plan that coupled with agreed KPI's, company sales, and develop dealer relationships.
Further existing strategies and agree new to exponentially grow sales pipeline
Maintain and create a rapport with new and existing dealer networks within your geographic territory.
Liaise with Commercial clients additional to retail, Architects & Designers and provide feedback within various departments e.g. customer service, marketing, production, warehouse etc.
Become a product expert through training and by researching company literature, such as brochures for product/technical information and prices.
Provide relevant feedback to the senior director, sales, and sales co-ordinator in line with requests made, job responsibilities.
Update the CRM daily through effective reporting/planning
Deliver new product, brand, and technical presentations.
Go above and beyond to meet ongoing customer service and work closely with the customer service internal team
