We're currently seeking a skilled PLC Control Engineer to join our client based in Doncaster. A renowned international company with a strong domestic market in the UK, you will be joining their Engineering team to assist with the design, programming and maintenance of their PLC control systems for their plant and machinery.

The PLC Control Engineer Role;

* Involved in the design, specification and introduction of new PLC programmes

* Commissioning and programming PLCs on site

* Responsible for performing modifications on existing software for machine improvements

* Carrying out routine maintenance on programmes to ensure production targets are met

* Fault finding and repairing defects, working towards system improvements

* Management of controls equipment, ordering spares and new components

* Continuous improvement projects alongside other members of the Engineering team

The PLC Control Engineer Candidate;

* Excellent knowledge of all aspects of PLC systems

* Able to design, write, implement and maintain PLCs

* Experience with HMIs would be desirable

* Strong programming skills, both offline and online

* Able to read and interpret electrical drawings
