Software Developer, Data and Software Business based in Warwick, Salary circa GBP35,000 to GBP42,000 dependent on experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Maps which not only gives users easy access to a massive aggregated and tremendously useful datasets of property intelligence (from 1000+ data sources) but also invests heavily in training the users on how to get the most from the information.

We are now looking for a Software Developer to join our growing team, reporting to the Technical Director.
This is a full-time permanent position, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Software Developer Main Duties:
- Building and implementing changes to our web-based platform, working with the development team, including visual elements that users interact with to backend development building upon the business logic of the platform.
- Developing further enhancements to the Company's real estate web based platform.
- Managing your own timescales to deliver work as part of a team according to estimates.
- Focusing on quality of implementation to reduce maintenance overheads.
- Undertaking any other additional duties required by the business from time to time.
Software Developer Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience using the following technologies: HTML, CSS3 / SASS, JQuery / AJAX / Modern Javascript libraries, ASP.NET C# MVC, Window Services
- Good understanding of MS T-SQL (working with data, procedures, query optimisation and indexing etc.)
- Understanding of the importance of code quality, consistency and testing.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a great eye for design and quality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and prioritise work.
- Self-motivated and organised.
