Do you want to use your test skills to help improve and deliver best-in-class solutions across Web, API and Cloud?

Do you have first class functional and non-function testing, and test analysis skills that you’d love to put to use delivering a highly-scalable, cloud-based SaaS system using a microservices architecture?

Are you passionate about test automation and eager to grow your skills as part of a team to design and develop test automation frameworks?

We work primarily with C#, ASP.NET Core and Framework, HTML 5, CSS (Bootstrap), JavaScript and MS SQL. Our platform runs on Azure using technologies like MS SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Mongo DB and Rabbit MQ.

We develop and test using the latest tools and are currently using Azure DevOps (Test Plans), Visual Studio, and Selenium.

As a Test Analyst, you will contribute to the complete software lifecycle, including:

  • Demonstrating working knowledge of functional testing, non-function testing and test analysis
  • Executing test scenarios and identify defects
  • Proficiency in multiple test scripting languages
  • Employing appropriate test tools to automate and to track progress in testing
  • Coordinating and reporting on manual testing with the development team

As a Test Analyst, you will contribute to the development team and the wider organisation, including:

  • Contribute to the continuous quality improvement of all test processes
  • Contributing to the DevOps process and tool building
  • Researching new technology and new techniques

We avoid technical silos. Although work on a sprint will inevitably focus on a particular technology/area, all team members need a broad and deep understanding of the technologies we use. This role requires technical flexibility and a desire to learn new skills, to assess new technologies and to bring benefits to the business.

Core responsibilities

  • To ensure software quality in both production and test development
  • To collaborate with analysts to make sure the required business scenarios are covered in the acceptance test scripts
  • To work closely with software developers to reach a common understanding of the code base and test coverage at unit level
