HGV Class 1 Driver required
HGV Class 1 Driver required for a position with our well-established client in Derby, East Midlands.
This particular company are well known nationwide, they have operated in the local area for many years and are a leader in General haulage logistics locally and nationally. This company focuses all aspects of Storage and Distribution of general goods. The HGV Class 1 Driver will be placed on an ongoing basis, any suitable drivers may be offered temp to perm placements.
The Role:
The HGV Class 1 driver will be required to work Monday to Friday (optional weekends are available). The work starts immediately and involves making deliveries of palletised goods, large goods, caged goods to DC's and RDC's across the UK. This job involves either a trunking shift or some deliveries with a back load collection, time to time some handball may be required.
Requirements for this role:
The HGV Class 1 Driver will require:
C+E entitlement on their licence
Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
No more than 6 points on licence
Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest
Hours & Pay:
The start times are usualy between 04:00 & 07:00, some noons and afternoon shifts can be made available for those who request them with HireGiant. The HGV Class 1 Driver will be required to work up to 50 hours+ per week.
The hourly rate for this role is based on our day shift as a LTD driver. (PAYE rates to be discussed)
* GBP13.00 per hour Monday to Friday - Days (Limited Company)
* GBP14.00 per hour Monday to Friday - Noons (Limited Company)
* GBP15.00 per hour Monday to Friday - Nights (Limited Company)
* GBP17.00 per hour Saturday if required (Limited Company)
* GBP18.00 per hour Sunday if required (Limited Company)
