Press Setter / Kingswinford / Temp to perm / GBP14.47 per hour
We are looking for an experienced Press Setter for a client with a number of blue chip customers based in the Kingswinford area, on a temp to perm basis.
This role is an excellent opportunity to join an established company. They specialise in precision engineering for a variety of industries including medical and automotive.
The position they are looking to fill is for a candidate with extensive experience of setting power presses to work on a permanent night shift. The following skills and experiences are required for you to be considered for this position;
Setting and operating various power presses
Working on multi stage coil fed presses and single stage secondary operation presses
First off / last off quality inspections
Experience on Bruderer HME, Chin Fong and Kaiser presses would be beneficial
Must have experience working in a press shop
The shift pattern for this role is working permanent nights, 10pm - 8am, with break, Monday to Thursday, totalling 38 hours per week. Please be aware, for training and bedding in purposes you will be starting on days until you are up to speed.
You will be paid a rate of GBP11.00 per hour. Your shift allowance for working the night shift will be GBP132 per week, which when broken down works out to a total of GBP14.47 per hour.
