ENGINEERING TEACHER

WHAT'S THE JOB?

Education World are seeking a Teacher to work at a secondary school in Doncaster (South Yorkshire) as a Engineering Teacher. This is a part-time role (3 days a week, days can be flexible but ideally Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) and is on a contract cover / supply basis until the end of Easter, 2021.

You will be teaching all KS4 (Y9, Y10 and Y11) Engineering, across a variety of skills, ages, challenges and abilities. You will be teaching Engineer as set out in the National Curriculum - including GCSE AQA exam board.

School hours are 8:15am - 3:00pm.

Planning and marking will also be required.

PAY

You will receive GBP110 - GBP160 per day (GBP(Apply online only) per week) depending on your experience, skill set and qualifications.

SUITABLE PEOPLE WILL NEED AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

* Previous experience teaching Engineering in any capacity (NQTs very welcome)

* Available 3 days a week part-time during normal school term time

* Experience of working in a Secondary mainstream school (Although experience in a Primary School or SEND School or alternative provision setting is acceptable)

* A former Engineer

* Ability to build a good rapport with pupils and staff alike.

* A committed and dedicated character with a passion for helping children and engaging young people

* A strong, mature yet down-to-earth classroom management ability.

* Can follow policies and procedures set out by the school
