CLASS 1 HGV DRIVERS NEEDED - Corby
Search Consultancy are looking to induct Class 1 HGV Drivers for a major retailer in the East Midlands. After working in partnership with the client for over 7 years we want to offer driving jobs that are flexible and commit to regular working patterns.
THE JOB
You will be driving a Class 1 HGV (C+E) truck. Box Trailer
Deliveries will be made around the UK. This job will involve making store deliveries with hanging garments (no nights out!). Our Client offers an excellent 1 day training programme (Paid Training!) where you will learn all aspects of the job as well as standard health and safety procedures.
SHIFT PATTERNS
We are looking for drivers to work between Monday to Saturday (within their legal hours, so any 5 days). Start times are varied with the occasional Sunday shift available.
Rates of pay are:
GBP14.00 ph - Monday to Friday Days
GBP15.00ph - Monday to Friday Nights
GBP16.00 ph - Saturday
GBP17.00 ph - Sunday
THE DRIVER
For this job you must have a valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence.
For insurance purposes you must have no more than 6 minor points on your licence.
Different levels of experience will be considered as all drivers will complete an induction which includes tail lift training. This is a physical job and drivers will be required to unload the trailer as part of the delivery to the store.
Previous tail lift experience is an advantage but not essential.
