A local manufacturing business based in Preston are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them for up to 6 months. The role will involve working from the office and from home on a rotation system.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

* Managing your own section of the ledger ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manor

* Matching checking and coding

* Resolving queries with suppliers

* Reconciliations of supplier statements

* Assisting with payment runs

* Managing inbound enquires

* Answering telephone

Your profile:

* Previous experience with Purchase Ledger is essential

* Confident when using Microsoft Excel

* Competent using accounting packages

* Team player and happy to support others when required

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary, a full time role - 37.5 hours per week and free on-site parking.
