A new and exciting opportunity has risen for an experienced Mechanical, Electrical & Fabric Supervisor to join one of my client's new contracts on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for delivering and managing a team on a range of planned and reactive maintenance as well as upgrade and new installation project work to meet the challenging and demanding needs of a busy workplace.

Responsibilities include:

Responsibility for proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames.
Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include fabric, and mechanical related tasks ensure ng they are captured and managed on the CAFM system.
Managing and supporting the 'in house' delivery team.
To undertake contractor control duties, monitoring contractor whilst on site and ensuring standards of workmanship are met, issuing of related permits and carrying out inductions.
Ensure that all electrical/mechanical equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria.
To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
To take a proactive approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management, as necessary. To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customers' needs at all time.
To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents/records are maintained accurately.
Ensuring compliance with H&S regulations, risk assessment, COSHH etc
Suggest improvements and innovations to improve the service provided.

Experience Required:

Previous experience supervising a maintenance team
Hold a relevant qualification - City & Guilds in plumbing or heating/equivalent NVQ or City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE wiring regulations
Have a strong FM/Building Services background
Be used to working in a busy environment
Demonstrates persistence, energy and enthusiasm to overcome obstacles and achieve results
Builds relationships in a professional manner.
