Title: Full-Time SEN Nanny
Location: Daventry, NN11
Wage: GBP15.00, rising to GBP15.70 on completion of successful probation period. GBP29,300.00 Gross per Annum (based on higher rate).
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? Yes, on duty, manual drive, however, will require own car and be happy to use for work purposes as Jack's new vehicle has not yet arrived. Mileage paid.
Essential: Experience supporting a child with additional needs
Start Date: ASAP - Until September 2022
Days & Hours: On average 36 hours per week. Job share, rota basis covering Monday to Sunday 7.00am - 7.00pm. 3 or 4 days on/off. Must be available full-time.

About this client/child:
Our client, 3-year-old Jack is a bright, engaging and friendly young chap with a great sense of humour. He lives at home with his Mummy and Daddy in Daventry. Jack has cerebral palsy, currently, he is non-weight bearing however using a walker and specialist equipment to support his gross motor skills and uses low-tech and high-tech devices to support his communication. Jack loves to have fun and it is important that a balance is struck between his therapy needs and his need to enjoy life like any other three-year-old. Jack loves music and playing with his toys. Due to Covid-19 Jack is no longer attending nursery, however, he would usually attend a mainstream setting.
Overview of role:
This is a great hands-on role, you will have the opportunity to work 1:1 with Jack, implement his therapies and work alongside his treating therapists, assist with self-help skills and personal care duties, take part in and plan fun and engaging activities, be creative and innovative in finding ways that Jack can access, explore and enjoy the world around him and continue to work on all his developmental skills. Jack has an SEN Nanny in place, and we are looking for another SEN Nanny to join his team. The set rota is in place to ensure both Nannies have the opportunity to work alongside the therapy team on a regular basis. It's also important that you can cover any leave or sickness, an enhanced rate is available for short term notice if cover is required.

The successful SEN Nanny will be caring, kind and dedicated, experienced supporting children with additional needs and can demonstrate excellent communication skills. The rota is non-negotiable, so please only apply if you can commit to the rota on a permanent basis.
