SENIOR DEMAND PLANNER
ENGINEERING
SHEFFIELD
GBP26,000 - 6 MONTH FTC - IMMEDIATE OCTOBER START
08.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday
One of my well established and renowned engineering clients based in Sheffield, is looking for an experienced Senior Demand Planner to join their very busy & demanding production team.
As a key part of the Planning team you will need to have exposure working within a fast-moving stock environment and have a proven track record of managing forecast schedules effectively with ERP systems.
Understand fluctuations in demand as well as seasonal trend patterns and promotional activity to maintain stock levels.
Maximise availability to customers whilst optimising inventory throughout National and Regional Distribution Centre network.
Perform different types of analysis to manage targets and performance, as well as to assess upcoming inventory projects
Monitor supplier performance and work with stakeholders to deliver improvements
Work with forecasting and inventory management system, Slimstock, as well as the ERP system, Kerridge.
Working with other departments within the organisation to ensure the appropriate purchasing and stocking strategies are applied to each supplier / product.
Collaborate with the Operations Team to resolve any issues relating to deliveries, space capacity, critical priority allocation.
Liaise with buyers ensuring stock availability.
Exceptional communication skills are essential as you will communicate across various departments.
Prepare forecasting reports.
You must have first class numeracy and time management skills.
Experience of Demand Planning in an busy FMCG environment is ideal but not essential with proven experience working with ERP system & Kerridge.
Salary offered GBP26,000 6 month FTC.
