We have an exciting opportunity available for a leading food manufacturer. Here at Futures, we are looking for an Assistant Shift Manager due to continued growth and expansion of the company.
Reporting into the Manufacturing Shift Manager you will be responsible for delivering the daily production plans in a cost effective way in compliance with product specifications, GMP and health & safety legislations
This role would suit an existing Shift Manager looking to move to a larger organisation, an exisiting Assistant Shift Manager or Production Supervisor/Shift Supervisor with experience managing large teams that wants to continue to develop their career.
Key responsibilities for the Assistant Shift Manager;
To manage and motivate the team.
Enforcing rules, regulations and good practice with regard to health and safety, food hygiene and quality standards Production, planning and stock control
Organisation of labour to achieve the production plan
Training and People Development
Act as a coach and mentor to all staff, promoting good team work
Successful Manufacturing Manager s will be;
Previous experience of working within a FMCG food manufacturing environment
Excellent organisational skills
Qualified to Degree level or equivalent ideally
Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box
Ability to record and manage accurate information and detailed data.
