Production Supervisor
We are recruiting for one of the market leaders in material handling equipment. Due to continued expansion and work order, they are looking for a Production Supervisor to join the team. This will be a pivotal role within the company. The Production Supervisor will have around 12 direct reports and you will report directly to the Production Manager and Managing Director. There is a great opportunity in this role as you will be able to bring your own ideas to the company and progress through.
Some key tasks involved as the Production Supervisor -
* Organising and monitoring workflow
* Delegation of tasks to ensure that production deadlines are met
* Organise production to maximise efficiency on the floor and meet delivery requirements
* Monitor performance and report to Director
* Make recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs with relevance to product design and component selection
* Address production problems as they arise
* Responsible for managing appraisals and disciplinary of employees
* Training
* Interdepartmental relationships
* Monitor and manage a safe working environment and adhere to safe working practices
Some skills you will have as a Production Supervisor -
* Working knowledge of fabrication, welding, boring, milling surface preparation, hydraulic mechanical assembly and electronics applied to the control of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
* Production Supervisor experience
