We are currently partnered with an Outstanding SEMH specialist secondary school based across 2 sites in West Sussex Horsham.

The school requires dynamic and innovative teachers and middle leaders for the following position:

SEN/Literacy Teacher (to lead English across the centres).

This school is an integrated Special School and Pupil Referral Unit catering for up to 100 secondary aged students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and operates from two sites in Horsham.

All students have significant SEMH needs but many, particularly on the special school roll, also have a range of complex learning needs and require tailored learning and support opportunities therefore we require teachers who have experience with these types of students.

This is for a maternity cover role which will span the full academic year with the possibility of a permanent contract.

The ideal teacher MUST:

-Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

-Be available full-time

-Have right to work in the UK

-Have experience working with SEN and SEMH

-Be able to teach and lead English Literacy (SEN 2) Please be aware all candidates must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
