Production Operative roles at MINI Plant Oxford

We are looking for 'Production Operatives' to work for Gi group at MINI Plant Oxford, for seasonal short term cover. All candidates must be able to work shifts on a 3-week rotation: Mornings (6am-1.30pm) / Afternoons (1.30pm-9pm) / Nights (9pm-4.30am). We are looking for up to 50 people who must be Aged 18+.
Hourly Pay rate: GBP14.00 for first 2 weeks then GBP16.05 per hour thereafter.
Duties include:
* Working on a moving production fitting parts within an allotted time scale.
* The nature of the work is physical, associates are required to move around the vehicles, collecting parts and fitting them to the vehicle.
* The pace is fast, and associates are required to keep up with the speed of the production line.
* Associates can be required to get in and out of vehicles, lean inside vehicles or work under body (looking upwards).
* All roles require some degree of bending, twisting and lifting.
* Associates are required to use DC tooling guns which vary in weight 1.5kg - 4.5kg depending on role.
* There is also a requirement for workers to use their hands to fit small intricate parts.
* All roles involve repetitive movements, with the associate repeating the process every 60 seconds.
* Workers are on their feet for the duration of the shift and can only rest during the set break times.
* Adhering to quality standards.
Skills / Experience
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to learn new tasks quickly.
* Determination and perseverance.
* Strong team player.
