Sensory Team Kitchen Assistant
Location: Stokesley
Department: Sensory
Contract: 6 Months
We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join our Sensory team based at our Stokesley site.

Purpose: The Kitchen Assistant role provides sample preparation service for sensory evaluation, managing all samples from delivery to disposal and including shopping, storage, recording, cooking, photographing, labelling and serving
Key tasks & accountabilities of the role include:
?? Prepare and cook samples accurately for tasting sessions
?? Code, portion and serve samples to panellists
?? Manage Sensory sample stock and storage
?? P repare product for quality evaluations & collate information on competitor products
?? Photograph and record appearance of samples and packaging
?? Start, run and stop Sensory Panel Tasting sessions on the computer
Essential skills include:
?? Able to cook in a controlled way to ensure sample consistency
?? A great communicator with good organisational skills.
?? Computer literate and competent using word/excel/powerpoint.
?? Current Food Hygiene certificate
?? Excellent attention to detail
?? Team player
?? A clean driving licence is essential.
