Quality & Compliance Officer (Energy)
Our established client just outside Cardiff are looking for a Quality & Compliance Officer to join them during a busy period on a Temporary basis for approximately 6 weeks. This may be extended even further.
The ideal candidate will have a strong experience within energy assessing, property improvement or general housing experience and be a highly organised, data driven professional.
You will provide support to the Programme Team on the development of area based programmes of works, and to review WHA results to advise on programme deliverables. Furthermore, you will provide support to the Supply Chain Team on the completion of post-EPCs from contractors with some responsibility for the maintenance of the internal data system.
The Role:
Ensure that local programmes of works being developed are targeted at EFG properties that are likely to accept improvement measures that will improve the property to band C.
Review and recommended measures in line with the property caps
Provide evidence to support requests to exceed caps where it will have a significant positive impact on the client and the property.
Review post-EPC results for accuracy, look at trends and support the framework contractors to improve the overall quality and compliance of the process.
Ensure that Home Analytics and other mapping tools used by the Data Analyst are as accurate as possible in relation to property details.
Provide guidance on the impact of energy measures on the energy efficiency of properties.
On completion of WHA recommendations, sense check the data for any inaccuracies.
Look at what other measures could be installed over the caps and help to support the programme team with a business case as to why greater investment should be made.
Use knowledge of the DEA-GDA process to review each post-EPC, ensuring accuracy.
Provide feedback and support to contractors on any non-compliance or inconsistencies.
Highlight trends in individual contractors or properties that will inform the programme development.The Person:
Educated to a high standard or equivalent level of relevant professional experience
Evidence of ongoing professional development in a relevant field
Relevant experience in the energy sector
Experience within the heating and/or insulation industry
Excellent relationship building skills
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Excellent CRM, Data, and IT skills
Confident self-starter & excellent team working skills
Understanding of complex information and requirements
