Legal Engineer / Proclaim Developer is required by an affable & successful Multi-service Law Firm. Remote working, from home, is a viable option as we are well set up with remote access, Office 365/Team meetings et cetera. This is an opportunity for someone with good prior experience of Proclaim and the use of other applications to provide management reporting out of Proclaim to join an excellent Firm who have a genuine focus on providing a supportive and collaborative working environment.
We are looking for someone who:
Is time efficient, organised, methodical and able to focus on increasing the productivity of the users, be it either through necessary maintenance or further development.
Is comfortable working on database fields, screen design, process and workflows.
Is experienced in user interface design, template development and data modelling
Ideally has SQL experience
Perhaps you are considering a change of role? Maybe you have the relevant skills but haven't had an opportunity to develop them further? Perhaps you have had a period of leave, for whatever reason and you wish to return to work on a part-time and possibly more flexible basis. Maybe you simply fancy a change of scenery?!
The role involves the following:
We do not have a team of developers presently. You will be solely responsible for Development of the CMS. However, we practice in only one area of law i.e. medical negligence.
Focusing on ensuring the CMS is kept up to date and capable of serving the needs of the Firm and its lawyers
Communicating with various members of the team as and when needed
Understanding and interpreting the needs of those who may not be able to describe things technically nor understand the requirements or limitations of the software systems.
Experience required:
Experience in a CMS Proclaim development role is critical to ensure you can seamlessly join the team. As would be expected, skills in report writing, understanding SQL, workflow creation, and database design and maintenance are key.
Experience in a CMS development role in regard to medical negligence work would be an advantage, but is not critical to the application. Experience in a CMS development role connected to personal injury work would be an advantage.
