Architectural Technician
A Local Authority based in Derbyshire is looking for an Architectural Technician to join their team. This is a full time, temporary ongoing agency role and the successful candidate must have a full relevant Architectural qualification, extensive experience in Residential Disabled Facilities Grants/Adaptions and ideally a strong background in Local Authority projects.
The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for the delivery of the design of building projects in the Disabled Facilities Grant Design Team.
The main responsibilities associated with the role are as follows;
To work as part of an in-house multidisciplinary team under the supervision of the Group Manager to produce feasibility studies, outline proposals and detailed technical drawing packages using AutoCAD and other software packages.
To initiate and develop design solutions for a broad range of design and construction work including extensions and adaptations to private domestic properties for disabled people.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;
Full Architectural qualification
Extensive experience in DFG/Disabled Adaptions projects
The client is looking to move quickly with appointing to this position and as such, are offering GBP18 p/hr Umbrella ltd (approx. GBP470 p/week after deductions) for the duration of the role.
