Thera's vision is to ensure that people with a learning disability can be leaders, control their Thera company and design the delivery of their support.
Your role within this will be to provide a policy administration service for the Thera group.
We are looking for a candidate who has good people skills and can liaise with people with a range of communication needs and methods, reviewing and developing policy content.
The ability to work towards scheduled timescales, will be key to producing policy documents that are accurate, accessible and user friendly. You will be highly literate and numerate and able to present information in a variety of ways to ensure that it is accessible to a wide range of audiences, previous research skills would be desirable and be able to gather, collate and interpret data.
The ability to write up policy documents using content prepared by other team members will be required, alongside a good eye for detail when verifying finalised drafts and ensure these are completed to Thera's policy standards.
The role is integral to the continued quality improvement of the policy development and review process and associated administrative processes. The majority of your time will be spent using Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use the internet effectively for research would be beneficial.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all policy systems and processes are in place whilst maintaining excellent version control. As part of the communication with teams you will then issue and distribute new policy folders, updating, formatting and issuing new and amended policies, assisting with queries and providing a range of information in respect of policy related matters.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can manage conflicting deadlines. You will maintain records of policy approval and adoption for the Thera companies and resultant filing and ensure staff compliance recording process is maintained.
