An exciting opportunity to lead and develop a new Customs Transit office in Ashford, Kent, has arisen for a talented leader within the Shipping & Logistics industry.
The Hiring Company;
A market leader within the field of Customs & Trade Management with an extensive International network of offices. The organisation has recently integrated with one of the Global leading organisations in the World of Shipping & Logistics.
The Role;
To support with the setup of a new office, and take full responsibility for the day to day running, leadership and development of a new Transit team which will play a key part in supporting the increased demand for Customs services in the UK, as a result of Brexit.
To Be Considered;
* Extensive managerial level experience gained within a freight forwarding / shipping / supply chain environment.
* Sound understanding of the logistics / freight forwarding process, to and from European markets
* Ideally exposure to customs procedures and regulations
* Experience of establishing and developing a new freight forwarding / logistics / customs operations office
