A Local Authority based in North Yorkshire is looking for an Environmental Health Officer to join their team.
This is a full time, temporary position for a one year minimum and the successful candidate will be a qualified Environmental Health Officer holding registration with EHRB or the EHRB Diploma in Environmental Health and ideally extensive experience in a similar role.
The purpose of the role is to support the delivery of statutory service as well as COVID response in Housing and Commercial environments.
To be responsible for the implementation of the Local Authority's policies and procedures to ensure the Authority fulfils its statutory duties.
To supervisor and monitor technical staff in the Environmental Health (Commercial) Team and provide advice and guidance to these officers as required.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between GBP18 and GBP20 p/hour Umbrella Ltd (approx. GBP470 and GBP510 p/week NET after deductions) dependant on experience and qualifications.
