We currently require a highly motivated and engaging teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with additional needs in a Y5 class within a mainstream primary school.The role is for an immediate start until Easter 2021 but could be ongoing depending on funding.

Responsibilities:
* Working with children with a variety of needs.
* Supporting the children in completing day to day tasks around the classroom and with their learning.
* Engaging with the children.
* Promoting positive behaviour.
* Making observations in line with the KS2 curriculum.
* Supporting the teacher with behaviour management.
Requirements:
As a successful teaching assistant you will have-
* Experience of working with children in primary school.
* Experience of supporting a class teacher to promote positive behaviour.
* Some knowledge of the KS2 and primary curriculum.
* The ability to communicate and work as part of a team within the school.
