This Senior Java Developer role will focus on Java development using Core Java, Spring, JEE, Cloud Platforms (AWS) etc. working on complex software development projects and providing guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team.
In order to be considered for this Senior Java Developer role most of the following skills and experiences are required:
Core Java
Spring or JEE
JUnit and integration testing
JDK 7+ (client migrating to JDK11)
SOAP and REST
XML, JSON
Test Driven Development
MyBatis, JPA or Hibernate
Maven 3
Microservice or SOA architectures
Linux
Agile (Scrum, Kanban etc.)
Mentoring, training, coaching experience
Beneficial skills:
Python
JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular 6+
NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB
Cloud Platforms/Amazon Web Services (AWS EC2)
BDD with Gherkin/Cucumber
Git
JDK 8
IntelliJ
Spring Integration or similar (Mule ESB, Camel, Fuse)
This Senior Java Developer role is currently based from home 100% although post Covid-19 there will be the expectation to be in the office two or three days a week.
