Assembly & Test Technician, Witney, GBP20,000 - GBP23,000pa plus benefits:
An award-winning scientific manufacturer based in Witney is looking at recruiting an Assembly & Technician to join their rapidly expanding company. This is junior role, one that will see you trained in various aspects of assembly and testing of their products.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for a range of assembly and testing duties. You will learn how to handle cryogenic liquids, calibrate their products and follow testing procedures. You will also gain the opportunity to learn how to follow electrical schematics and how to wire their complex products.
This Assembly & Test Technician role would perfect suit either a college leaver looking for their first role within an Engineering business, or it would be a great move for someone who is currently in an assembly role but would like to become more technical. If you have any experience in the assembly of scientific instrumentation in particular, wiring or PCB assembly, then this will also enhance your application. Other key skills are good communication, team working with the ability to self motivate and work by yourself.
