I'm recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a real estate company who specialise in the acquisition, development, management and disposal of social property assets across the North West and UK.

As Project Development Manager you will be responsible for overseeing full scale projects from end to end, experience is essential

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage relationships with third party contractors to ensure contractors are engaged and satisfied with their workload, and that costs remain lean.
* Develop project plans, from idea to completion, to monitor and track progress.
* Externally evaluate performance of contractors in order to continually ensure optimum performance and value for money to the company
* Managing the day to day operation from foundation to completion, and the critical paths for labour, materials and plant including material lead times.
* Continually develop own leadership skills through personal and professional development opportunities to use throughout all responsibilities.
* Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
* Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
* Meet with clients to take detailed briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
* Meet budget objectives and make necessary adjustments based on financial analysis. Coordinate internal resources and contractors to ensure the smooth execution of all elements of their project, based on skill level, time capacity and individual strengths.
* Measure project success and performance using the agreed metrics.
* Complete 12 month review of approved contractors on performance, cost & quality KPI's.
* Ensure resource availability and allocation of both internal staffing and external resource to contractors is distributed according to financial plans and agreed deadlines.
* Develop project plans, from idea to completion, to monitor and track progress.

The candidate:

* Must be driven, ambitious, strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
* End to end project lifecycle experience
* Extensive experience of working as a Quantity Surveyor/Project Manager
* Ideally be RICS Chartered with 4+ years post qualification experience, either PM, QS or BS
* Full clean UK driver's license
