About the setting:

A specialist further education college offering both day and 38-52 week residential placements. The college provides holistic education for students aged 16-25 years, who have a diagnoses of Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and associated mental health conditions.

The residential setting provides therapeutic support alongside their students vocational programmes to enable them to gain life skills, qualifications and employability qualities to ensure the greatest opportunity of successful outcomes.

Night shifts OR day shifts available
Full time position
Permanent position
Shift patterns are as follows:

Day workers:

42 hours a week average
2 week rota
One week 3 days and the next 4 days
Shifts are 12 hrs long
Night workers:

37.5 hours a week average
2 week rota
one week 2 shifts & the next 4 shifts
Shifts are 12.5 hrs
The skills we expect applicants to have:

Experience supporting children or adults with ASC
A full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
A passion for working with young people
A good team player
Excellent communication skills
Strong determination
Hard-working
Resilience
Honesty
A willingness to learn and adapt duties including managing complex behaviours and crisis intervention

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
