About this role
This role is about solving our defence customer's most complex technological challenges by creating innovative digital solutions. Making use of our and industry offerings you will transform the way that they can do business in achieving their vision. You will also be providing key technology design and implementation ownership and expertise throughout all stages of the solutions design engagement life cycle.
You'll have the following responsibilities
* Be an ambassador for our company, our customers and our team
* Be the authoritative lead on building the right security solutions of single or multiple technology towers from customer requirements
* Provide end-to-end security information assurance governance, leadership, accountability and ownership for technology towers throughout the pre-sales and delivery life cycle
* Implement cyber risk mitigation strategies in relation to customer's business risk management
* Define and create pre-sales and post sales technical collateral
* Develop and manage customer relationships and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
You'll have the following skills & experience
* Ideally UKSV Security Check (SC) clearance (as a minimum).
* Extensive knowledge of information assurance and security architecture disciplines being applied in networking, unified communications and/or converged infrastructure and computing technologies
* A current security industry expert certification and/or have proven related experience (CISSP / NCSC Certified Professional (CCP) Senior Practitioner)
* Conducting, producing and responding to cyber risk assessments (IT Health Checks, RMAD, ISM)
* Knowledge of Networking (IPv4, IPv6, QoS, CoS) technologies and products
* Extensive knowledge of HMG MoD information assurance and compliance policies (JSP)
* Identifying and mitigate risks for multiple technology tower
* Proven commercial awareness to ensure solutions meet customer requirements both technically and in terms of cost
* Communicating and influencing across all levels and all technical abilities (with, Subject Matter experts, Techies, Managers, Sales and Ministerial Level etc)
* Working in major public industry sectors; Defence (MoD) and/or HM Government departments or agencies
