Due to the growth of the academy, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding Academy Counsellor to join our Student Welfare Team. The successful candidate will contribute to developing and delivering a professional and confidential counselling service for students to promote their emotional health and well-being and, in doing so, help them overcome barriers to learning. This is a key position in a supportive and forward-thinking academy offering the opportunity to contribute to our pastoral system and make a substantial difference to the lives of young [people in North Manchester. The post would suit a qualified counsellor with a diploma or equivalent qualification recognised by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
