Title: Caretaker
Location: Bracknell
Job Type: Temp to perm
Salary: GBP11 - GBP15 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Experience:
Estate Caretaking experience for either council, housing association or contractor
The Caretaker will be responsible for undertaking communal cleaning - mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, litter picking etc. Basic repairs/maintenance - changing door handles, handrails, replacing light bulbs, reporting any anti-social behaviour Dealing with contractors. Working to a schedule/rota for the bin stores making sure they are ready for collection Clearing bin stores. Health and safety on site making sure your work space is a safe environment for you and the residents.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following:
Working outside on estates, including knowledge of general groundwork and estate cleaning.
Personal safety & lone working practices.
The ability to communicate effectively with residents, contractors and other stakeholders.
Effective negotiation skills, problem solving and ability to resolve issues using own initiative.
The ability to work effectively on their own initiative and in caretaking teams.
Caretaking / cleaning / gardening work in their designated estates to be of a high standard.
Candidates will require a Basic DBS Check Certificate & hold a valid UK Driving Licence
