THE COMPANY: This well-established organisation are part of a larger group and they continue to succeed and grow thanks to a premium quality product portfolio and a real focus on customer service and requirements. They provide a range of infection control products for use within a variety of end user settings (medical, veterinary and laboratories typically) and continued success and expansion means that they are currently seeking to recruit a driven, positive and commercially aware relationship builder to manage and grow their distribution business within Scotland and Ireland (candidate location needs to be central belt of Scotland, ideally West).

THE ROLE: The successful Distributor Account Manager will play a key role in the continued growth of the organisation, sourcing new distributors and wholesalers as well as helping to grow the business within their existing ones. Typical contact level will be with procurement and purchasing, as well as liaising with the company's end user sales team. Candidates must have experience selling into distributors and preference will be given to those who have opened up, and then grown, distributors within the healthcare sector. Full product and company training will be provided and career and earning potential is attractive and realistic.

The Package for Distributor Account Manager:

  • Basic: GBP40,000 to GBP45,000
  • Bonus: GBP10,000 to GBP15,000
  • Car: Generous allowance
  • Benefits: Pension, mobile, laptop, 25 days holiday + stats
