EBD Teacher
Location: Hinckley
Salary: Dependent on experience
Degree-Six Education are seeking a qualified Teacher to fill a vacancy within a specialist EBD school in Hinckley. The secondary SEND school caters to the needs of students with SEBD (Social Emotional Behaviour Difficulties). You will be joining a dedicated team of staff on a full time basis. The school are looking for an experienced teacher with a calm nature and an ability to teach across KS3 and 4.
The duties and responsibility are:
* Carrying out all planning and marking
* Working with small classroom sizes
* Liaising with TA's to ensure students are being appropriately supported
* Identify students who require extra support
* Promoting positive choices from the students
The successful candidate must have:
* Qualified Teachers Status
* A passion for working with children with complex needs including challenging behaviour
* A pupil centred approach
* Ability to build relationship with pupils quickly
* A good sense of humour
* An enthusiastic and flexible approach to working
* An ability to remain calm under challenging situations
