A global manufacturer of research and scientific equipment is now looking for a Production Technician - Electrical to join their facility in Bristol.
Now is an exciting time to join a growing market leader as Production Technician - Electrical, where you will be involved in the assembly build of cutting edge hi-tech precision products.
Your main duties will include building systems, sub-assemblies and piece parts for complex systems efficiently to the right quality levels and ISO standards, and to achieve build schedules
You will ensure that the requirements of the BOM and the customer specification are achieved.
Involved at all stages of build, you will identify and resolve build problems, report technical issues and record using the internal processes.
To ensure you maintain high levels of technical competence there will be opportunities to undertake training.
You will also contribute to the performance of the Production Team through continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience:
To succeed as a Production Technician - Electrical, you should be a time-served Electrical Apprentice. You must have worked in a Production Environment. You will have built systems, sub systems and have proven experience in panel wiring, reading electrical schematics, and strong wiring skills.
Qualifications:
You must be a time-served Electrical Apprentice. With significant Electrical Production and Wiring experience candidates who hold a City & Guilds part 3, HND, HNC, or BTEC Level 3 will also be considered.
Additional Information:
Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK / Europe and hold a full driving licence. Copies of Passports / Visas will be requested for verification
Each working week consists of 4 shifts of 8 hours, and one of 5 hours. Further details available when we discuss your application.
