We are really excited to be recruiting a Group IT Manager for a fast paced and growing technology business in Great Yarmouth, who are undergoing a huge programme of change.

You will lead a team of highly skilled professionals from desktop engineers to architects, in delivering global IT support from the central services division here in Norfolk. This is a broad role that will cover all aspects of complex networking and infrastructure across the group, including leadership and management, the definition and delivery of the strategic roadmap, and hands on technical elements to deliver services effectively.

Duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Delivering an extensive change programme to centralise IT Services, Applications, WAN, LAN etc
Lead and work with the team to design, build and maintain complex network and infrastructure technology
Develop a high performing team with robust processes in place for service delivery and disaster recovery
Manage and mitigate Cyber risk through effective delivery of cyber security
Strong organisation and project management skills, to deliver complex internationally deployed solutions
Identifying key areas of opportunity for the technology, and delivering the appropriate roadmap
Manage 3rd party suppliers, licensing, procurement etc

Desirable skills:
Experience in leading IT infrastructure teams, with the ability to drive change
Internal and external stakeholder engagement
Microsoft technologies including AD and Azure AD, Exchange, IIS, SQL, Office 365, DNS, Windows Server and Teams
In-depth knowledge of VMWare, vSphere and storage technologies
Strong networking skills - IP addressing, NAT, routing, switching etc
Solid understanding of cyber security principals, firewall, device security technologies (Cisco/Fortinet)

Your responsibilities will span the full IT remit including development, projects, architecture and infrastructure so you can expect to have total control of the technology both internal and externally to the business working closely with the IT Director.

It's essential that you're happy getting your hands dirty but also negotiating with suppliers and working with the board. Business acumen and great communication skills are really important!
