The purpose of this Technical Services Specialist position is to support product claim resolution in a timely manner to the mutual satisfaction of the customer and the organisation, by working with both the customer and supply chain providers.
- You will identify opportunities to learn from product faults and technical issues, which will involve hands-on laboratory test work, as well as office based work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identification of justified product claims, and resolving these at the earliest opportunity, through appropriate testing and evaluation of samples and analysis of complaint data.
- Identification of trends in product issues claims and report back to the Technical Services Manager for escalation to production sites.
- Inputting data into the CRM database.
- Preparation of data for monthly reports
- Identification and development of opportunities to streamline the claims process for the whole supply chain.
- Physical Testing of products in a laboratory
- Adhering to relevant regulatory requirements for various global markets
- Deputising for the Technical Services Manager when required.
To be considered for this position, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Experience of working in a relevant technical position
- Qualifications in a relevant scientific discipline
- A full UK driving licence
